Locums Vascular Surgeon Opportunity in Oakland, CA

Job description

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Need 50% weeknight and 50% weekend coverage, around 2 weekends/mo and 3 weeknights/week
**Providers must be willing to cover a MINIMUM of 4 shifts/mo**
• Patients per day: census fluctuates, generally busier during summer
• Department description: Level 1 trauma center
• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: Must be comfortable/experienced in vascular trauma surgery

Requirements:
• Certifications required: Fluoroscopy certification REQUIRED, ACLS required
• Minimum experience required:
Must have level 1 or 2 trauma experience. STRONGLY prefer level 1 trauma experience
Must have experience working vascular trauma call
Must be comfortable with vascular and open surgery
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
