Assignment Details:

Coverage Needed: Providers must be willing to cover a minimum of 4 shifts per month
Schedule: Approximately 50% weeknight and 50% weekend coverage (around 2 weekends/month and 3 weeknights/week)
Practice Setting: Hospital
Patients Per Day: Census fluctuates and is generally busier during the summer months
EMR: Epic

Work Details:

Level I Trauma Center coverage
Must be experienced and comfortable with vascular trauma surgery

Requirements:

State License: Active California license required
Board Certification: Board Certified only
DEA: California DEA required
Certifications: Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS required
Experience:
Level I or Level II trauma experience required
Must have experience taking vascular trauma call
Must be comfortable with vascular and open surgery
