Vascular Surgeon Locums – Oakland, CA | Night & Weekend Trauma Call Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Oakland, California. .

Assignment Details:
Location: Oakland, CA
Coverage Type: Beeper Call Coverage
Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Coverage Need: Approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week
Minimum Commitment: 4 shifts per month

Practice Setting:
Level I Trauma Center
EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities:
Vascular trauma call coverage
Management of acute vascular injuries
Open vascular surgery procedures
Collaboration with trauma and surgical teams in a high-acuity environment

Requirements:
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active California license required
California DEA required
ACLS certification required

Experience Required:
Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
Strong preference for Level I Trauma experience

Additional Information:
Ongoing coverage need
Flexible scheduling available for qualified providers meeting minimum shift requirements
