California Vascular Surgery Locums - Licensing Available, 4-Shift Minimum

Aya Locums is recruiting a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon for ongoing night and weekend call coverage in California beginning November 16.

This is beeper call coverage within a Level I trauma center. Weeknight coverage runs approximately 5 PM - 7 AM, while weekend coverage consists of 24-hour call from 7 AM - 7 AM. The overall need includes weekday nights and approximately two weekends per month, with individual surgeons asked to provide a minimum of four shifts per month.

The surgeon should have meaningful vascular trauma call experience, be comfortable with open vascular surgery, and have recent Level I or Level II trauma experience. Level I trauma experience is strongly preferred.

An existing California license is no longer required to start the conversation. Licensing assistance is available for the right Vascular Surgeon. California DEA will ultimately be required, along with ACLS and fluoroscopy certification.

Credentialing is expected to take approximately 90-120 days.
