Facility:
This is a well-established hospital serving the Colorado Springs community with a 250-bed capacity, operating as a Level II Trauma Center. The facility serves an adult and geriatric patient population and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system, providing a modern and efficient clinical environment.

Board Certified - Surgery - Vascular
Job Details:
- Locum vascular surgeon needed to provide call coverage for vascular surgery, including surgical treatment of blunt and other vascular trauma
- 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) with 4 gratis hours included per shift
- Average of 10-12 call days per month
- Coverage begins October 7, 2026, with ongoing dates starting January 2027
- Required procedures include Abdominal Open/Endovascular
- EMR system is EPIC; prior EPIC experience required
- EMR training modules and virtual training must be completed prior to first day
- Active Colorado license or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required
- Active DEA required for credentialing purposes
- Board Certification in Vascular Surgery required
- Must disclose number of shifts per month available on an ongoing basis at time of submission
- Candidate must be available for October 2026 stint dates and must disclose all stints they can cover
- Clean malpractice and background history required
- Candidates must stay at one of the facility's preferred hotels and reference the prenegotiated rate at time of booking
- Credentialing timeframe is typically 30 days with full responsiveness; emergency temporary privileges available within one week
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric; 3-4 admissions per day
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
