Job description

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This assignment is focused on inpatient care and call coverage within a high-volume hospital system.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: Ongoing
Schedule: 8 shifts per month
Shift Type: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, flexible)
Coverage Need: Backfill for retiring providers until permanent hires are onboarded

Practice Setting:
Large, 643-bed hospital
EMR: Epic
Team includes 3 vascular surgeons and 5 APPs
Adult patient population

Work Details:
Primarily inpatient and call coverage
Average 0–3 cases per day
Focus on supporting existing team and reducing call burden

Procedures & Case Mix: Open and endovascular vascular surgery, EVAR / TEVAR, Lower extremity ischemia cases

Requirements:
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active Georgia license or IMLC
ACLS certification required
