Vascular Surgery Opportunity – Georgia | 24-Hour Call Coverage | Ongoing Need

Job description

A hospital-based vascular surgery team is seeking additional coverage support while permanent providers are being recruited. This role is primarily focused on inpatient and call coverage.

Schedule -
8 shifts per month
24-hour call shifts

Practice Setting -
Hospital-based practice
643-bed facility
EMR: Epic

Team includes:
3 surgeons
5 APPs

Volume & Responsibilities -
Primarily assisting with call coverage
Average daily volume: 0–3 cases per day
Inpatient coverage responsibilities included

Procedures & Skills -
Providers should be comfortable with a full vascular surgery skill set, including:
Open vascular procedures
Endovascular procedures
EVAR / TEVAR
Lower extremity ischemia management

Requirements -
Board Certification required
Active Georgia license or IMLC accepted
ACLS required
Minimum 5 years of experience

Credentialing -
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
Will consider compact license candidates due to timeline needs
