Job description

Cardiothoracic Surgery locum opportunity in Idaho Falls, ID available. This is a call-focused assignment with specific coverage dates through the end of the year.

Schedule:
• Start: August 2026
• 24-hour call (7:00am – 7:00am)
• Coverage blocks:

Aug 13–17
Sept 10–14
Nov 5–9
Dec 3–7
Dec 31

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Inpatient rounding + full CVT call coverage
• Dedicated surgical and ICU support team
• Broad case mix including CABG and aortic dissections
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements:
• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Active ID license (licensing not available)
• DEA and CSR required
• Must be comfortable with full-scope adult cardiac/thoracic/vascular cases

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60–90 days
