CTS with Vascular Needed in New Hampshire

Job description

A respected cardiovascular surgery practice in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with Vascular experience to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage while the facility recruits a permanent vascular surgeon.

Opportunity Details:
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Practice Setting: Hospital-based
Coverage Need: Ongoing until permanent provider is hired
Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients per day
Patient Population: Adult patients
Care Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Meditech Expanse

Schedule & Call:
Up to 11 shifts per month
24-hour call coverage required, including nights and weekends
Maximum of 3 call weekends/month
Occasional outpatient clinic responsibilities
Dates to be determined

Responsibilities:
Manage cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
Provide inpatient consultations and surgical coverage
Participate in outpatient follow-up care as needed
Deliver hospital-based vascular call coverage
Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams

Support Staff:
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Dedicated nursing staff
Medical Assistants

Requirements:
Board Certification required
Experience managing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
Active Virginia medical license required
Virginia CSR required
Virginia DEA or transferable DEA accepted
