Pennsylvania Vascular Surgery Locums - Weekend Call, Licensing Support

Job description

Aya Locums is recruiting a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon for ongoing weekend call coverage in Pennsylvania beginning in October.

Coverage is structured around weekend 24-hour call blocks, with initial needs beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Monday morning. The surgeon will support two hospitals located approximately 25 minutes apart, with an APP available for first assist.

The confirmed clinical scope includes vascular bypasses and amputations. Average callback is approximately two hours per day, and the hospitals use Epic.

An active Pennsylvania license is not required to start the conversation. Surgeons with an active IMLC pathway / Letter of Qualification can be considered, and Aya can assist with obtaining the Pennsylvania license. A DEA is required.

Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeons with at least one year of experience may be considered. Credentialing is approximately 90 days, and temporary privileges may be available for Pennsylvania-licensed surgeons with a clean file when the need is urgent.
