24-hour beeper call coverage
5 call shifts available
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Call ratio: 1:3
Required response time: Within 30 minutes
Approximately 10% callback rate

Average per 24-hour call period:

3 phone consults
5-10 patients seen
No admissions required (Hospitalist team handles admissions)
Practice Details
Inpatient setting
Stroke-Certified Hospital
Level II Trauma Facility
10-bed department
Rounding on both new and established patients
Average of 5 patients per shift
Requirements
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active South Carolina Medical License required
ACLS certification required
Credentialing & Privileges
Temporary privileges available
Hospital privileges not required prior to assignment start
Important Notes
Current NPDB report, updated CV, and disclosure of any reportable events are required for consideration.
Providers with a malpractice history within the past 10 years are not eligible.
Travel and lodging expenses will be reimbursed separately and may not be included in the provider rate.
