About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage on a 24-hour call basis at an on-site facility, with a call ratio of 1:4 weekends and variable scheduling for additional coverage dates. Clinical responsibilities include the diagnosis and management of vascular conditions, performance of open surgical procedures such as bypasses and aneurysm repairs, and minimally invasive endovascular interventions including angioplasty and stenting. APPs serve as first call, providing support to the vascular surgery service throughout each assigned coverage period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and all clinical duties are conducted entirely on-site.
