Providers will credential at two locations, offering broad exposure across the regional health system.

Job Details:

• Provide locum coverage for vascular surgery services at two hospital locations in Portsmouth and Suffolk, VA
• Anticipated start date of March 1, 2027, with coverage needs including holiday, vacation, week, and weekend coverage
• Schedule includes Mon-Sun 24-hour call, Mon-Fri 8:30a-4:30p daily clinic hours, Mon-Fri 4:30p-8:30a night call, and weekend call Fri-Mon 4:30p-8:30a
• Beeper/phone call coverage required
• Average of 5-10 hospital patients per day
• Patient population is 80% geriatric and 20% adult
• 100% inpatient practice setting
• Standard vascular surgery procedures required including dialysis access
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• Active Virginia medical license required
• Active DEA required
• Fellowship required
• Board certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 3-6 months
