Locum Vascular Surgeon – Flexible 1 Week/Month Coverage | Charleston, WV - Willing to license!

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: 1 week per month
Shifts: Day coverage with after-hours call
Call Requirement: Minimum of 5 nights per week, including weekend coverage

Practice Setting:
Hospital-based practice
EMR: Cerner
Support includes inpatient residents and APPs for clinic coverage

Work Details:
Combination of inpatient care, clinic support, and call coverage
Focus on maintaining vascular service line coverage during assigned week

Procedures & Skills Required:
General vascular surgery, Venous closures, Sclerotherapy injections for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)

Requirements:
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active West Virginia license (or IMLC or temporary WV license)
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required

Additional Information:
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
Full travel, lodging, and expenses covered
