Weekend Cardiovascular Surgery Call Coverage

Job description

Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery
Location: Northern Virginia
Schedule: Approximately one weekend of call per month
Coverage: 24-hour call coverage
Shift Details: Weekend assignment with two 24-hour night call shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 PM)
Patient Population: Adult cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
Case Mix: Full spectrum of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including emergent cardiac cases
Call: Primary cardiovascular surgery call with support from two dedicated CVORs
Support Staff: Excellent advanced practice provider support
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
Board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeon
Fellowship trained
Several years of adult cardiovascular surgery experience
Comfortable managing emergent cardiac surgery cases
Assignment Details: Ongoing locum opportunity with ASAP start, pending licensing and credentialing
