Family Practice/Internal Med Physician Needed in CA

Job description

I have a client in Oakland, CA seeking 2 Family Practice/Internal Med physicians for locum coverage starting in September. Please see a few details below:

Duration: 6-12 mo

Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days

Vaccine Requirements: Must have 2 covid vaccines

Patient Population: Primarily Medical/Medicaid, low income, diverse set of language, adult clinic

Internal Medicine and Family Practice both accepted

Additional Job specifics:

Open to both FT and PT physicians

Shifts are in 4-hr blocks, daytime 8a-12p(M-F), afternoon is 1p-5p(M-F), and evening is 430p-8p (currently Tuesdays only, but they are hoping to expand to other evenings). Minimum of 2 evenings/week are required, though that may change as well as they expand their evening capacity. Saturdays would be daytime of afternoon shifts. 8/week, 32 hours is considered full-time + 8hr/week admin time.

Requirements:

Prior experience supervising residents is HIGHLY PREFERRED

Prior experience working in a primary care safety net setting preferred

Bilingual candidates welcomed
