Job description

• Full medical care for intellectually disabled long term care patients. No physical rounds necessary on COVID positive patients, done through telemedicine.
• Seeing 25 long term care patients on two homes. Rounds by 9AM morning report. All annuals, quarterly documentation. Annual team meetings as required. Team meetings (called ISPA’s) as needed. Maintain all training requirements.
• On Call: Weekend Calls: 2 per month (Friday 5pm to Monday 8am) about 30 calls. Rounds on campus. Weekday Calls: 1 per week (5PM to 8AM) about 5 calls. Telephone call
• Monday through Friday
• 8a-5p
• EMR is IRIS
• Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
• Provides direct patient care, medical assessments and treatment, face to face evaluations, responds to all emergency calls and provides on-call duties as assigned by Clinical Director
• American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Facility.
