Experienced Psychiatrist Needed in Abilene, TX

Length of contract: 3 months

• Start date: ASAP / 6/3/24

• Coverage Type: Scheduled hours and on call preferred

• Schedule Details: Four days a week - Hours 8-6, Four days a week or Hours 8-5, Five days a week if preferred. May telework some but must be on site one week per month, minimum. Prefer on call back up by phone supervising on site APRN overnight or on weekends as part of regular duties. Overnight rotation with other staff psychiatric NPs.

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: State Supported Living Center
• EMR/Charting Software: Cerner
• Vaccines Mandatory?: Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: Psychiatrist will write at minimum one summary note on each patient per month. (APRNs write full summary staffing notes.)
Requirements:
• Board Certifications: Required / Board Eligible
• State License(s): Must have current Texas license with no history of sanctions by the Medical Board
• Certifications: CPR/BLS
• DEA: YES / NPI
• Years of Experience: Must be residency-trained in psychiatry.

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
