Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 6 months and ongoing

Shift Details: Day shifts – no call or weekends

Schedule: Monday – Friday – 8am – 4:30pm

Work Details:

· Support staff: Radiologists and APP providers

· Patients per day: 10-15 PPD

· Patient population/age: All ages, very rare for peds though

· Department description: Helping in the Radiology department - Currently our Interventional Radiology department has 2 physicians and 3 APPs. The job listing involves the clinical side of the IR department - we are in need of a clinic PA/NP to help do pre-procedure clinic visits (primarily tele visits) to get people prepped and consented for procedures (ie labs and holding blood thinners). This person will be care coordination with the outside referrers, place outpatient procedure orders, plan follow up imaging/procedures, do follow up clinical appointments for draincare, etc. An average clinic day is around 10 patients, so you have a lot of time to gather a history and educate patients without rushing through your day. This is a very heavy computer documentation position, so a lot of the day is spent on Cerner.

· EMR: Cerner

· Special procedures: The Interventional Radiology procedures are image guided biopsies, ablations, embolizations, ports, etc. The NP/PA is NOT doing these procedures, just prepping the patients for the procedure.
