Locum Interventional Radiologist needed near Redding, CA starting as soon as credentialed

2024 Dates of Coverage:
- Friday night call-5pm-8am-Saturday and Sunday 24 hour call 8a-8a
- March 22-24
- May 3-5
- June 7-9
- June 14-16
- June 28-30
- Coverage will be needed indefinitely for all weekends and holidays starting with Friday pm call at 5pm
Details:
- Average Callback Hours: Weekdays 1.7, Weekend 3.2
- Friday night call-5pm-8am-Saturday and Sunday 24 hour call 8a-8a
- Setting: Acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Designation and Thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center designation. NIR services for stroke are provided by hospital-contracted NIR group and are not part of the locum IR job.
- Duties: Emergency call coverage for IR services for weekends and holidays, may include Friday PM call (5pm-8am). Also includes supervision of procedures using fluoroscopy (non-OR procedures).
- Interventional Procedures Required, Both vascular & nonvascular
- EMR: Cerner Care B, Radiologists also use PowerScribe 360
- Support Staff: Hospital department Radiology Techs, no APP (PA) support staff for IR services.
- Requirements: BC IR, Active CA License, DEA, ACLS, CA Fluoroscopy Permit, Clean Background/Malpractice.
