Position: Sleep Medicine Neurologist Opening for Private Practice Near Troy, MI
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
Well-established private practice, deeply connected to the community, is seeking a patient-focused Sleep Medicine Neurologist. This role offers a balance of clinical care, minimal administrative duties, and opportunities for clinical research. Will also credential at partner hospital.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload of patients aged 16+ with sleep and attention deficite disorders, including some pediatric patients
• Conduct brief physical exams and patient management based on medical history reviewed after intake and vitals are completed by medical assistants.
• Interpret and review sleep study results daily on tests, including: CPAP titration, Home Sleep Apnea Testing, Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Testing, EEGs, Audio-Visual Cognitive Evoked Potentials
• Minimal administrative work; primarily patient-centered activities and weekly clinical research
Qualifications:
• Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the AASM, successful completion of MD/DO program
• Comfortable managing a caseload that includes pediatric patients.
• Interest in expanding research focus to include nerve conduction studies.
• Strong commitment to patient care and excellent communication skills, desire to work in a collaborative and cross-discipline environment
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $300,000 - $400,000/year (commensurate with experience).
• 3% 401(k) match
• Continuing Education (CEU) funding and travel allowance
• Minimal night shifts and weekend calls for an excellent work-life balance.
