ob Posting: Locum Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgeon – Call Coverage

Position Details
~Start Date: March 14, 2025
~Contract Length: March 14 – March 24, 2025
~Shift Details: Call only (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
~No clinic hours or elective procedures required.
~May include rounding and discharging up to 5 post-operative patients, if applicable.
~Support from hospitalists and intensivists available.
~Call Type: Beeper
~Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Work Details:
~Practice Setting: Inpatient
~Patients Per Day: 3-5

Department Description: ~Admissions required, Stroke Certified
~Hospital Bed Size: 12
~EMR/Charting Software: Cerner

Requirements
~Board Certification: Board Eligible required
~State License: Alabama license required
~Certifications: ACLS, BLS
