ASSIGNEMENT DETAILS: 2754910
• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
• Target Start: Late March 2025
• Length of commitment: 3-12 months with the option to extend
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
• Amount of Coverage needed: 1-2 weeks per month through the end of the year
• Call: Calls are not often, usually a few times during the week. Rounding at the hospital with no active surgeries on the books
• Support staff: several APPs during the week in the clinic and in the hospital as well as an APP being on call overnight and the weekend
• Types of Procedures: Coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic surgery, valvular repair and replacement, atrial fibrillation/left atrial appendage management, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
• Department Description: 471 bed facility Level II trauma
• EMR: Epic
• Required: Board Certified, Active VA License or IMLC, BLS, ACLS, DEA
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
