Cardiothoracic Surgery APP Needed in WA (will license)

Location: Spokane

Start Date: 11-03-2025
End Date: 04-24-2026

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Hospital: M-F 7am-2pm

Will be on the call rotation and will take calls from the nurses floor

Call Schedule: M-F 9am-4pm - Week night call rotation 1x weekday night 5pm-7am, weekends 7am-7pm Sat-Sun

Call back % weekday: 1%, weekend 3%, ICU weekend rounds if weekend call

Work Details:
Support staff: 2 RN, 9 PA/NPs, 9 office staff
Facility Type: medical center, level 1 for Cardiac
Practice Setting: outpatient, inpatient
EMR/Charting Software: Epic is both narrative and has templets, smart phrases make quick work of documentation.
Avg. Daily Census: 10-15
Patient Age Group: 80% adult, 20% peds
Procedures: VEIN HARVESTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, Experience/certification for assisting Davinci Robotic Cardiac and Thoracic surgeries a plus
Equipment: Fax, copier, scanner multiuse machine, 4 desktop printers, Oxygen canisters, medical supplies for surgical wound care. Water dispensers, wheelchairs, weight scale, automatic blood pressure reader/pulse oximeter.

Requirements:
Board Certification required? yes; minimum eligible
State License(s): WA; will accept ILMC licenses
Certifications: ACLS
DEA Required

Credentialing Timeframe: 10 weeks
Willing To License? No; will accept ILMC licenses for this need
