Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job description

07/01/25 – 13 weeks with possibility to extend

· Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Nights, 11.5 hour shifts (12.5 hours including 1 hour meal break); Shift Hours: 7p-7:30a, 3 shifts weekly. One week per month requires a fourth shift. Coverage is needed 7 days weekly.

· Coverage Days Needed: 3 to 4 days per week

· Holiday Coverage Needed? No

· Total amount of Meal Break Deduction Per Shift: 1 hour

PRACTICE DETAILS:

· Patients per Day/Volume: 3 to 8

· Type of Patients/Cases: Pediatric BMT

· Procedures/Cases Required: N/A as the night shift does not do procedures

· Daily Responsibilities: Admissions, discharges, medication prescribing, patient and family education, interdisciplinary rounds, family-centered rounding, consultations, documentation, discharge planning, medication reconciliation, etc.

· Support Staff:

· EMR: Epic
