Locums Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Job description

Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend (Will look at 6 month assignments)
Schedule: Mon – Sun (1-2 weekends per month) , Days-0600-1800 (12hr), Nights-1700 – 0700

Clinic details
Practice Setting: Hospital
Patient Volume: 6-8 Level 4 patients per day
Patient Population: Newborn
Support Staff: 11 APP on day shift, 5 APP on nights
Cases/Procedures: Intubation, umbilical artery/venous cannulation, chest tube placements, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, ventilation management (including high frequency oscillatory ventilation). Must be comfortable with deliveries.
