Job description

Position: Inpatient Child Psychiatrist
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call/Weekends: None
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry – Child Unit
Patient Population: Ages 13–18

Responsibilities:

Caseload: 12–15 beds

Daily Rounding: 12–15 patients

Admissions/Discharges: 2–3 per day (e.g., 2 discharges in the morning may mean 2 admissions in the afternoon)

Average Length of Stay: 7–10 days

Types of Cases: General psychiatry, gender dysphoria, bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression

Requirements:

Board Certification Preferred (will consider truly Board Eligible candidates)

Will consider candidates not enrolled in Medicare/Medicaid

PA licensure required or eligibility

Support Team:

Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs)

Registered Nurses (RNs)

Counselors

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

Additional Info:
