Locums - Cardiovascular Surgery PA with vein harvesting - Nashville, TN

Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery WITH Vein Harvesting
Start Date: 8/25/2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential to extend
Shift Details: Flexible schedule, 12 hr days or nights, call an option
Schedule: 7 days per week
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Works alongside surgeons
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum of 8-10 shifts per month
· Patient population/age: Adult
· Department description:
· EMR: Epic
· Hospital bed size: 1190
· Duties: - Assisting in the operating room, assisting surgeons with various procedures like, ECHMO, Aortic valve, valve replacements, TAVRs, LVAD placements to name a few. - They do ALOT of heart transplants
· Skills required: MUST have Endoscopic vein harvesting experience - Hemopro and Maquet. Highly preferred experience with heart transplants
Practice Setting:
· Level I Trauma Hospital, Teaching
Requirements:
· Board Certification: First Assist PA
· License required: TN license in hand preferred, will consider licensing candidates
· Certifications required: BLS/ACLS/PALS, SFA Cert
· Minimum experience required: At least 3-5 years experience required
