HIGHLIGHTS

Monday–Friday, full‑time (4 weeks/month)
CV Anesthesia MDs only – high‑volume cardiac service
No call & no weekends
8–10 hour shifts
Heavy general case volume (3500–4000/month across department)
CV cases: 10–15 per day
Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
IMLC considered
Epic/Cerner + AIMS
Care‑team model (1 MD : 3–4 CRNAs)
Travel + lodging reimbursable with receipts
1099 Locum Tenens
Active NC license required


SCHEDULE

Start Date: 4/6/2026
Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
Shift Type: Day & Weekend as needed
Hours: 7a–3p (8 hrs) | Up to 10‑hr as needed
Full‑time requirement: Monday–Friday, 4 weeks/month
Duration: 6 months with possible extension

MDs may run their own cases if preferred

Epic used in some areas
Designated stroke center
Busy OB program
Travel & lodging reimbursed (no stipend; receipts required)


REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified or Board Eligible (CV Anesthesia)
Active NC license (IMLC considered)
DEA
Ability to perform peripheral nerve blocks
Strong CV anesthesia experience
