Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic/Light Interventional - Multiple Florida locations

Job description

We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiologist for an onsite locum tenens opportunity in Florida. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with a manageable volume and an emphasis on diagnostic radiology, complemented by light interventional procedures.

Clinical Details:
Workload:
90% Diagnostic / 10% Light Interventional
6 RVUs per hour

Procedures Required:
General diagnostic radiology, including:
CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy
Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drains
If mammography experience is present:
Must be able to read screening/diagnostic mammo and perform stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and mammo-guided biopsies
Volume: Must be comfortable reading a high volume of ER and acute care studies

Credentialing & Schedule:
Cross-Credentialing: One application covers multiple Florida sites
Minimum Shift Requirement: 10 shifts/month
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements:
Must have an active Florida medical license
Must hold an active DEA
Must have a clean malpractice and disciplinary history
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
If Board Eligible >3 years, a written explanation is required
Must be able to handle a moderate-to-high volume of emergency and hospital-based diagnostic reads.
