🕒 Schedule: Weekend beeper call only – 1–2 weekends/month (Friday–Sunday)
🩺 Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level II

🔹 Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Board-Certified (or recently BE) Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide weekend-only call coverage for a Level II trauma center in Texas. This is a call-only position with no in-house responsibilities—ideal for surgeons looking to supplement their income with flexible, low-commitment shifts.

🌟 Position Highlights:
• Strictly beeper call – Friday through Sunday
• Supportive inpatient team at a Level II trauma facility
• Low volume: 7–10 patients per shift on average

📋 Job Details:
Support Staff: Yes

Patients per shift: 7–10

EMR: Epic

Board Certification: Required (or BE within 5 years of residency)

License: Active TX medical license required

Certifications: ATLS required

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
