Locums Cardiovascular Surgeon Needed – Weekend Call Coverage

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for a weekend call-only locums assignment in Texas.

📍 Position Details:
Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery

Start Date: October 1, 2025

End Date: Ongoing

Schedule: Beeper call only, 1-2 weekends/month (Friday–Sunday)

Coverage Type: Call Only

Patients per Shift: 7-10

Trauma Level: II

Setting: Inpatient

EMR: Epic

Facility: Community-based hospital in West Texas

✅ Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery

Active Texas medical license (required)

ATLS Certification (required)

Credentialing: ~60 days

• Ongoing
• 1-2 weekends a month, Friday through Sunday
• 60 day credentialing
