Unit: ED – Combined Adult/Pedi, Unit 91225
Start Date: August 26, 2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)

Position Highlights
Join the high-volume Emergency Department at ARMC, a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility, providing care to diverse populations including trauma, medical emergencies, behavioral health, and pediatric patients.

- Patient Age Range: Neonates to geriatrics
- Unit Size: 58 beds, 180 visits/day
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling with every-other-weekend coverage
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Charting System: Epic

Skills & Experience
- Minimum **1 year** ER nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Familiarity with critical interventions: IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, ABG interpretation
- Stroke and STEMI facility experience preferred
- Trauma Level I/II experience desirable

Clinical Expertise
- Emergency triage and isolation protocols
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
- Respiratory support: CPAP/BiPAP, intubated patients
- Neurologic and trauma care: CVA, ICP monitoring, spinal injuries
- Pediatric emergency care: head injuries, near drowning, ortho-trauma
- Special populations: cancer, sepsis, behavioral health
