Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for short-term locum tenens coverage to support scheduled time off. This is an inpatient-only role with no clinic or surgical admissions required—responsibilities are limited to rounding and discharge of post-operative patients if needed.

The facility is seeking coverage for the following dates:
- June 27, 2025 – July 7, 2025
- November 26, 2025 – December 1, 2025

This assignment requires a provider who is board eligible or board certified and licensed in Alabama or through the IMLC. The hospital is stroke certified, with 12 beds in the cardiovascular department and support from an experienced team. Providers will see 3–5 patients per shift, both assigned and unassigned.

Role Details:
- Setting: Inpatient-only (no OR, no clinic)
- Patient Load: 3–5 patients/day
- Duties: Post-op discharges only, if applicable
- Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
- EMR: Cerner
- Stroke Certified Facility

Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- AL or IMLC license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Fellowship not required
- Temp privileges not available | Credentialing: 60–90 days
