Cardiologist needed in PA

Job description

• Need someone FT
• Will consider IMLC candidates
• Will take as few as two weeks per month or up to 4 weeks of coverage per month
• No procedures required. We just need hospital consult coverage and call so that we can relieve perm physicians to do other things
• .On average, 8-12 patients daily. That is fluid depending on census and service line
• Hospital consultations are held from 8:00 to 4:30, with diagnostic reads interspersed between consultations as needed.
• If covering clinic patient appointments from 9am-4pm.
• Coverage of hospital duties including but not limited to reading of diagnostic testing/ consults and call
o 5-6 calls a night
o The shift during the day is typically 8-10 hours but if on call it will be over night and call is 5pm-8am
o 5-6 calls in the night, very uncommon to come in during sleeping hours. Most of the time, the back up interventional cardiologist would be the one called in, if he needed assistance, then he would ask for that
