Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed in NC

5, Day (8 Hours) 7:00 - 15:00
Mon-Fri
4 weeks per month

Specialty: CV Anes MD

Work Details:
Duration: 6 months, possibly longer, until able to backfill MD positions with W2 employees.
**Please submit NC licensed candidates.**
Does physician need Board Certification: BE or BC
Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
Average Number of general cases per month: 3500-4000
Case Mix: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks

Describe support staff: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
· Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
· Department Description: Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred.
· EMR: Cerner and AIMS
· Special Procedures: General, Ortho, Endo, Urology, GYN, Robotics, Neuro/Spine. Very little Peds.
* No craniotomies or transplants. There is a dedicated team to trauma and cardiac. There may be potential for vascular.
