Interventional Radiologist Locum in Kent/Sussex, Delaware (DE)

Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Interventional Radiologist Locum to work in Kent/Sussex, Delaware, as soon as credentialed.


The role of Interventional Radiologist Locum:
Critical Vacation/General Coverage: October 2025, forward.
Minimal availability: 1-2 weeks per month.
Schedule: During the week. Monday to Friday, 8a-5p (8hrs of work for 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Procedures: Radiology Locums help with IR procedures, reading room assistants, nighthawk service (after-hours).
Setting: Team; PACs: GE Universal; Voice recognition system: PowerScribe 360.

Requirements of the Interventional Radiologist Locum:
State license; active, unrestricted. Pending license: will be considered.
Board certified.
Credentialing: Dual privileged to cover two hospitals [5-6 wees].
Volume/Modalities: 50% IR (5-6 procedures per day), 50-60 diagnostic reads (5-10 CT, x-ray, ultrasound, and general readings).
Must be proficient: Bone biopsy, neph tube exchange, liver biopsies, angiogram. If a candidate is versed in light IR procedures, they will work around the complex procedures. Facility will consider a General Radiologist that can do light IR. The IR docs will cover the more complex procedures.
