Facility in Atlantic City, NJ seeking Orthopedic surgery locums coverage Rates: $350/hr regular hours. $500 beeper fee and $400/hr night call back Start Date: June 15, 2025 (Urgent Backfill Need) Contract Length: Through September 10, 2025 Trauma Designation: Level II Trauma Center Schedule and Coverage Full-time 24/7 coverage: June 16 – August 15 In-house: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM Intermittent Coverage: August 15 – September 10 (weekends, call, day shifts) Clinic: 1 half-day/week, 5–10 indigent care patients Call Call Ratio: 1:3 Minimum: 10 days/month, up to 14 Call includes two locations Practice Details Daily Surgical Volume: 3–5 OR cases/day Annual Case Volume: ~700 trauma cases EMR: Cerner Operating Rooms: 7 Onsite Orthopedic Surgeons: Private practice providers (10) Patient Demographic: Primarily adult and geriatric Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days Clinical Responsibilities General orthopedic trauma care (adult/geriatric) Total hip replacements and revisions No arthroscopy or disc surgery required Requirements Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery – Required Active New Jersey Medical License – Required (not accepting candidates willing to obtain) BLS Certification – Required Minimum Experience: 2+ years preferred
