Good afternoon,

I’m reaching out with a new Cardiothoracic Surgery locum assignment in Virginia — a great short-term holiday coverage opportunity with competitive pay and full support.

📋 Assignment Details:
Dates Needed: December 19 – December 29, 2025
Coverage: 24-hour call
Rounding: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM and again in the afternoon


🩺 Job Description:
Perform a full range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, aortic surgery, valvular surgery, atrial fibrillation management, TAVR, and endovascular aneurysm repair
Provide pre- and post-op care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Clinic responsibilities include post-op patient visits (clinic open Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4:30 PM; typically 2–3 days/week)
Daily hospital rounding between 7 AM – 8 AM, supported by APPs
24-hour call coverage ensures you’ll provide consults and inpatient support as needed, with APP support always on site
