Acute Care Hospital
Interventional Radiologist

Rotating between 2 hospitals

Hospital A Responsibilities:
Will perform interventional procedures such as IR drain placements, lumbar punctures, FL arthrograms, GI FL, paras, thoras, CT and US guided biopsies. They will also perform stereotactic and US guided breast biopsies as well as breast screeners and diagnostics.

Hospital B Responsibilities:
The main focus would be breast imaging with screening/diagnostics, US and stereotactic biopsies, and pre-surgical lesion localizations. Additional US procedures include thyroid nodule, lymph node, soft tissue biopsies, and occasional cholecystostomy tube placement. Will also do CT lung, solid organ, and soft tissue biopsies as well as abscess catheter placement and PICC placements. Occasionally they may do joint arthrogram injections, HSGs, and pain management procedures including joint injections.
