Weekend Beeper-Call | Cardiothoracic Surgeon | West Texas

Job description

This assignment is built for the Cardiothoracic Surgeon who thrives on high-acuity, call-only work and prefers a predictable cadence without weekday clinic.

• Scope: Inpatient call only, Fri–Sun
• Schedule: 1–2 weekends per month, ongoing
• Environment: Level II trauma, Epic EMR, seasoned ED/ICU/cardiology support
• Volume: ~7–10 patients/shift; call-backs as needed
• Start: December 2025; credentialing ~60 days
• Requirements: BC/BE CTS (BE ≤5 yrs), Texas license, ATLS; vascular experience preferred
