Schedule: 3x12s, includes weekends & holidays
Location: Columbus, OH (no locals within 50 miles)

Position Overview

A major children’s hospital in Ohio is seeking experienced Pediatric Stepdown ICU APPs for night coverage. Providers will join a collaborative team caring for complex pediatric patients with a strong focus on pulmonary cases.

Key Details

Unit: 24-bed Pediatric Stepdown ICU

Coverage: Two APPs onsite at night

Patient Population: Pediatric stepdown patients, pulmonary-heavy caseload

Procedures Required: Intubation, arterial line placement

EMR: Epic

Reason for Coverage: Flu season demand and provider leaves

Requirements

Board Certification: Acute Care Certified NP or PA

Experience: Prior pediatric ICU or stepdown experience preferred

Licensure: Active OH license required

Credentialing: Can credential within 4 weeks with temporary privileges

Schedule

Shifts: 3x12s Nights (7p–7a)

Includes: Weekends and holidays

Start Date: November 3, 2025 (or ASAP after credentialing)
