🫀 Locum Tenens – Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Opportunity

Location: South Carolina
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Call: ~5% weekdays, ~75% weekends (primarily ER call)
Contract Length: 6 month contract

✨ Practice Details

Setting: 90% Hospital, 10% Clinic – mix of outpatient & acute inpatient care

Patient Population: Adults only

Daily Caseload: ~10 patients/day

5 Admissions

5 ICU patients

4 Surgeries (first assist)

Support Team: 4 Physicians + 7 Mid-level providers

EMR: Epic

🛠️ Required Skills

Vein harvesting

First assist on all open-heart cases

Suturing expertise

Pre- & post-op surgical care management

📋 Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience

Board Certified PA

Active South Carolina License
