New Opportunity Located in Northern SC with Aya Locums: Cardiothoracic Surgery PA

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in North SC. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of physicians and APPs in a cardiothoracic surgery program.

Assignment Details
-Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6a–2p (8-hour guarantee); OT after 8 hours daily
-Call: Weekdays ~5%; Weekends ~75% (primarily ER call)
-Patient Population: Adults only

Work Details
-Daily Caseload: ~10 patients per day
-Responsibilities: Pre- and post-op surgical care

Skills & Experience Required
-Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery
-Must be proficient in vein harvesting, suturing, and serving as first assist in all open-heart cases

Practice Setting
-Inpatient & Outpatient

-Board Certification: Required
