Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to provide 24-hour call coverage at a leading hospital in Savannah, GA. This role supports both cardiovascular and thoracic cases with strong inpatient and surgical team support.

Details

Shift Type: 24-hour non-restrictive call (30-minute recall time)

Coverage Dates:

November 21: Night call coverage

December 13–29: Full 7a–7a coverage

Patients per Shift: Approximately 8

Support Staff: 1 surgeon, 2 APPs, full floor and OR nursing support (recruiting for permanent APP)

EMR: Epic

Skills & Requirements

Core Skills: Vein harvesting required

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Licensure: Must hold or obtain GA license; all PA applicants must have supervising physician listed on license prior to credentialing

Experience: Prior CT surgery experience required
