Aya Locums is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to provide ongoing 24-hour call coverage in East Georgia. This position offers a mix of cardiovascular and thoracic cases in an inpatient hospital setting with a supportive team.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: 24-hour Call
• Schedule: Friday 7am – Monday 7am (24-hour non-restrictive call)
• EMR: Epic

Work Details
• Case Mix: Cardiovascular and thoracic (emergent thoracic cases are rare and usually managed by residents)
• Support Staff: 1 Surgeon, 2 APPs, floor and OR nursing staff
• Patients per Shift: 8
• Skills Required: Vein harvesting

Practice Setting
• Inpatient

Requirements
• License: GA license required
