Carle Regional in Urbana, IL has PA-CVOR locum needs! IL license-$150 Hr-Asap start-We have openings in many states currently!!!

PA-C providers only. They are not considering NPs at this time. Also, the group is needing providers with expertise in the OR, ideally someone who has multiple years of OR experience.

We have re-opened the CV Surgery 1st Assist locum need with Carle Health for Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. This locum will also become privileged at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL. Please read all the details below and in the attached practice detail and then call or email us if you still have questions.


REQUIRMENTS: Certified PA. Experience in surgical first assisting, Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH), perioperative patient care and inpatient rounding. Preferred experience in ECMO. If confirmed, locum provider must agree to the following requirements: provide locum firm with vaccination records, negative drug screening, and complete physical within 90 days of start date (per Health Attestation Form).

LICENSE RESTRICTION: Active Illinois license.

SCHEDULE: Scheduled consists of M-F 7a-4p. May have weeknight call and weekend 24-hour call (not guaranteed; call schedule TBD). Need 3-4 weeks per month of consistent coverage.



RATES: $150 Hr

Orientation Rate (7:30a-5p)
Hourly Rate for the scheduled shift worked Monday-Friday
OT for hours worked after scheduled shift
Night Pager Fee (TBD and not a guarantee)
24-hour Weekend Call – Sat/Sun to include up to 4 hours gratis per day (TBD and not a guarantee)
Call Back Rate. Applies only when locum is called in to hospital to see patients after gratis hours. Phone calls after hours that do not require locum going in can be billed in 15 min increments.

Description

Need a APC locums that is experienced 1st assist. If they can also do vein harvesting even better. This will be for our CVT surgeon. They must have a NV license and we would need them to start Monday, 10/13.

I have cases scheduled 10/14, 10/15 & 10/16. I currently need:

10/13/25-11/03/25

11/17/25-11/25/25

12/15/25-12/28/25

This would be about 8 hours on site and night and weekend call.

We will work hard to get temporary privileges in place.

Candidate Requirements

Active NV State License Board Status: Doesn't Matter. Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): More than 2 years Flu vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption. Covid vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption. This job requires candidates to enter their hours in the Vemsta platform.
