Job description

We are seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) with ICU experience for a Medical ICU locum tenens assignment in New York, NY.

Assignment Details:
Medical ICU, New York, NY

Schedule:
Start: November 2025
End: June 2026
Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Patient Load:
Day Shift: ~4 patients/provider
Night Shift: ~6 patients/provider
Admissions: Required; volume varies per shift
ICU Beds: 12
EMR: Epic
Preferred Skills: Central venous lines, arterial lines
Supervision: ICU Attendings and Fellows available day & night

Requirements:
Licensure: Active New York State License
Certifications: ACLS and BLS
DEA: Active DEA registration
Experience: Acute Care NP or PA with ICU experience preferred
