Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) – Locums Opportunity – Ohio

Start Date: November 24, 2025
Contract Length: November 24, 2025 – April 2, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Weekend call rotation 1:4
Credentialing: Emergency privileges available

Position Overview
This role offers a balanced weekday schedule and structured call rotation in a fast-paced, high-acuity vascular surgery setting. Ideal for experienced PAs who thrive in trauma-level hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in vascular surgical procedures (2–6 per day).
Round on 10–20 inpatients daily with vascular surgeons.
Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotations (Friday evening–Monday morning).
Perform rounds on Saturday and Sunday mornings during call weekends.
Float between OR, inpatient floor, and rounding duties as needed.

Typical Procedures
Vein harvesting
Arteriovenous access
Aortagrams, bypasses, and angiograms
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Endovascular procedures
Rounding and discharge planning

Qualifications
Board Certification: Required
State License: Active Ohio license required
Certifications: ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 1 year (vascular or trauma hospital experience preferred)
