Opportunity Overview

A premier healthcare facility in Washington State is seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and surgical responsibilities, working alongside a strong support team in a collaborative environment.

Schedule & Coverage Details

Call Coverage: 24-hour call, two weekends per month

Clinic Coverage: One week per month (or every other month)

Clinic Hours: 7a–5p, includes night call

Schedule based on surgical caseload and consult volumes

Providers Needed: 2

Practice Details

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Patient Volume: 2–5 patients per shift

Support Staff: Full cardiac team on-site

EMR: Epic

Procedures & Skills Required

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery

Valvular Repair

Aneurysm Repair

Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues

Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, and PA Catheter

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification: Required

License: Active WA License or IMLC accepted

Fellowship: Preferred in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 Days
